wput question or bug

Hi,
I have been using wput almost everyday for 1.5 year now and I think it is
great and helped me a lot.

Here is my config:
PC(redhat 7.3)->router->...INTERNET..->router(ftp ports
forwarded)->PC(redhat 7.3)

I always had a problem with transission ending.
Wput would transfer 100% of the file and then stop and report an error
that transer failed. But since it transfered file correctly - I ignored
it.

When I upgraded it to 0.4c couple of weeks ago it does not quit after
transfering file. My PC usually transfers 1-2 files a day - so if I leave
it unattended for couple of days I have many wput processes running that
did not exit properly. I have to kill them mannualy.

Is there anything that I can do to make wput exit?
