RE: wput: bug-report

Hagen,

I'm experiencing another issue regarding the timestamp and when it
should and shouldn't transfer the file. This is the command I'm using
with $deststr being the ftp location. Sometime it behaves the way I
expect and sometimes it doesn't.

wput --timestamp --peace --reupload --quiet * $deststr

If the src contains the following:
total 1272
drwxr-xr-x 4 testftp testftp 4096 Jul 14 09:00 .
drwxr-xr-x 5 testftp testftp 4096 Jul 14 09:00 ..
drwxr-xr-x 2 testftp testftp 4096 Jul 14 09:00 bar
drwxr-xr-x 2 testftp testftp 4096 Jul 14 09:00 foo
-rw-r--r-- 1 testftp testftp 508 Jul 14 09:01 move_to_testftp1
-rw-r--r-- 1 testftp testftp 503002 Jul 14 09:01 move_to_testftp2
-rw-r--r-- 1 testftp testftp 251501 Jul 14 09:01 move_to_testftp3
-rw-r--r-- 1 testftp testftp 251501 Jul 14 09:00 move_to_testftp4
-rw-r--r-- 1 testftp testftp 251501 Jul 14 09:00 move_to_testftp5

And the dest contains the following from a previous wput:
total 1268
drwxrwxr-x 2 syncer syncer 4096 Jul 14 09:00 .
drwxrwxr-x 5 syncer syncer 4096 Jul 8 08:15 ..
-rw-r--r-- 1 syncer syncer 251501 Jul 14 09:00 move_to_testftp1
-rw-r--r-- 1 syncer syncer 251501 Jul 14 09:00 move_to_testftp2
-rw-r--r-- 1 syncer syncer 251501 Jul 14 09:00 move_to_testftp3
-rw-r--r-- 1 syncer syncer 251501 Jul 14 09:00 move_to_testftp4
-rw-r--r-- 1 syncer syncer 251501 Jul 14 09:00 move_to_testftp5

After execution of a wput the dest contains this:
total 1264
drwxrwxr-x 2 syncer syncer 4096 Jul 14 09:00 .
drwxrwxr-x 5 syncer syncer 4096 Jul 8 08:15 ..
-rw-r--r-- 1 syncer syncer 508 Jul 14 09:01 move_to_testftp1
-rw-r--r-- 1 syncer syncer 503002 Jul 14 09:01 move_to_testftp2
-rw-r--r-- 1 syncer syncer 251501 Jul 14 09:01 move_to_testftp3
-rw-r--r-- 1 syncer syncer 251501 Jul 14 09:01 move_to_testftp4
-rw-r--r-- 1 syncer syncer 251501 Jul 14 09:01 move_to_testftp5

I would expect that the move_to_testftp4 and move_to_testftp5 files
would have remained unchanged in the dest. And its intermittent,
sometimes it works fine like this.

Src:
total 1272
drwxr-xr-x 4 testftp testftp 4096 Jul 14 08:53 .

I have the logfiles from both runs with the debug turned on if you want
it. When I looked at it, the timestamp comparisons on those two files
didn't make sense to me, but I'm not sure where it gets the timestamps
to compare.
